completes the sinuous stadium at its #quzhou sports park. the centerpiece of a massive landscaped complex, the #architecture fluidly integrates into the rolling ground and now marks the largest ‘earth-sheltered’ building in the world. the project is characterized by its light-emitting PTFE membrane which shrouds the complex #stadium and offers it its organic geometry. this luminous canopy encloses a structure comprising sixty sets of concrete column walls, while pockets in the #landscape obscure the threshold between #interior and exterior. images 1-4, 8 images 5-7 find out more on #designboom!#madarchitects
